‘Invest in You’ Art, Bark & Meow

It’s time to get creative—and cuddly. Our upcoming Invest in You event combines an art project with our love of animals (and yummy snacks). Mark your calendars for a fun evening Oct. 29 to benefit Animals in Distress.

We’ve put our own spin on the popular “paint and sip” class. We’re going to use watercolor pencils to draw puppies and kittens, directed by our MtM “resident artist” and client, Margie. No matter what your level of artistic ability, you’re sure to enjoy creating your own masterpiece—with great company and refreshments. Join us for a relaxing evening filled with laughter and furry friends.

Animals in Distress will host our group of aspiring artists, so we can get inspired by taking a tour of the facility and visiting with cats and dogs eager for love and attention. We ask our guests to consider bringing a donation for the animal sanctuary. Its wish list is below, or make a monetary donation to help care for the animals in need.

Our RSVP deadline has passed; the event is at capacity.

Animals in Distress cares for nearly 400 cats and dogs. The cost to run the sanctuary is $50,000 to $60,000 per month. Learn more on its website.
