Our annual Invest in You shoebox-packing party to support Holiday Hope Chests is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6. This year, we have a goal to donate 96 gifts to the Hispanic Center of the Lehigh Valley.
Let’s do it, ladies!
Holiday Hope Chests is a program organized by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley to collect boxes of small gifts for underprivileged children in our area.
This is our third annual Invest in You shoebox-packing party. Our inaugural effort gathered 51 gifts. In 2022, we donated 81 gifts. This year, we’ve set the bar even higher. Holiday Hope Chests is allowing groups like ours to directly match with community organizations to provide the gifts on their wish lists. So, our goal is to fill the Hispanic Center’s request for 96 gifts for kids ages 2 to teen.
We are asking our generous Invest in You ladies to bring empty shoeboxes and buy some small, age-appropriate items to stuff them with. Then join us for a fun packing party to compile everyone’s donations into shoeboxes filled with love and thoughtfulness that will brighten the holidays for kids in our neighborhoods.
MtM Financial Group will provide dinner and wrapping supplies.
Here are the details about our ninth Invest in You event:
When: 6-7:30 p.m. Wed. Dec. 6
What: Dinner, dessert, wine and laughs while we gather donations, fill and wrap Holiday Hope Chests shoeboxes
Where: Community room at the Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire. Co., next door to the MtM Financial Group office: 4519 Hanoverville Road, Bethlehem (L. Nazareth Twp.)

• Sign up here to bring a donation to pack in the shoeboxes
• Bring your contribution—and an empty shoebox, if you have one—on Dec. 6. It’s especially helpful if you wrap your shoebox at home before you come!
Invite a friend, and come hungry and ready to meet new people and share some laughs! We’ll have fun while helping children in our community.
If you can’t join us on Dec. 6 but want to help, we’d appreciate donations of empty shoeboxes, gifts to pack in them, wrapping paper or tape. Drop it off at our office anytime before the event. Thank you for your support!
