Dale Carnegie – is one of the most recognized names in the world of self-development and accomplishment. Carnegie lived through two World Wars, the Korean War, and the Great Depression. In spite of the immense challenges of his times, he wrote some of the most uplifting books of all time. He also founded Dale Carnegie Training that, for more than 100 years, has assisted real people in becoming more than they thought they could be.
We are facing immense challenges of our own. You know the current list as well as I. It is tempting – almost unavoidable – that people begin to believe there are no answers. When the inmates are running the asylum, rational people often despair. To them, across lifetimes, Dale Carnegie says:
“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.”
Our challenges are real, dangerous, and seem to be unsolvable.
Do not give up hope. Important things are coming. They will be accomplished by people who don’t give up hope. People who don’t give up faith. They may well happen because of people just like you. In the words of my friends from a by-gone era, ‘Keep the faith, baby!’
God bless all of you and God bless America.
Please allow us to serve you and those you love.
Thank you,
Gene
P.S. For 5 ½ years George Washington led an army of citizen-soldiers against the greatest military machine and political power in the world – and he lost time after time after time. There seemed to be no hope whatsoever. But Washington would not give up his faith. When the last six months of the war concluded the British were sent packing and America was a free nation.
We, too, are facing the greatest political power in the world – our very own. We must find those important things that will have an impact. We must see our nation free again. We must keep the faith.
