Invest in You celebrated its first anniversary with our fifth event on Dec. 1, 2022—another shoebox packing party to support Holiday Hope Chests. We are all smiles about the turnout: 33 women gathered for dinner, wine and cake and brought together generous donations to contribute 81 gifts to this heartwarming ministry. We packed 77 boxes and collected four gift cards that will go to underprivileged children in the Lehigh Valley. We’re thrilled that we surpassed last year’s donation of 51 boxes.
Thank you to The Daily Grind for feeding us. Thank you to the thoughtful clients who dropped off gifts, empty boxes and wrapping paper during the two weeks preceding the event. And thank you to the generous, friendly and fun ladies who joined us to set up, wrap, pack, load and clean up. You brought wonderful gifts the kids will surely appreciate. We made a great team, and we hope you had as much fun as we did.
